UK comparison site Trufl introduces the use of correct pronouns in positive steps for the progressive brand.

Trufl, which allows users to choose their pronouns on the website, took the step to better facilitate inclusion and showcase brand values. Established in 2020 and based in the North East of England, as part of their brand launch, trufl.com allows users to choose from inclusive pronouns, including They and Mx.

The tool, which speeds up and simplifies the comparison process, started development during the first UK lockdown and saves customers an average £305* on their energy bills. Trufl Director, Thomas Dittmer said: “We pride ourselves on our values and our inclusive environment, so it made sense for us to show our support of gender-inclusive pronouns on our website, internal communications, and external communications.

"It’s important to establish inclusivity as a brand to allow our employees and customers to feel empowered, valued, and in control.” UK households can check whether they are receiving competitive costs on their energy, broadband, and mobile contracts by visiting trufl.com
